Clay by Shay Jewelry started in Banks, a small river town in the mountains of Idaho. Shay Woodhouse, the designer of Clay by Shay, is a potter and a painter with a devotion to creativity, sustainability, and time spent outdoors. Clay by Shay is loved by many, but especially loved by kayakers, surfers, rock climbers and backpackers.  Shay’s pieces are colorful, inclusive, and timeless. 

Our jewelry is handmade by a small studio of creative women in Boise, Idaho. We use stoneware, porcelain and earthenware clay, our designs are naturally waterproof, durable, and plastic-free. We offer an adventure-proof promise, guaranteeing the life of each piece of jewelry we make, reducing waste through free repairs and offering peace of mind that our jewelry is truly made to last lifetimes.
