Inspired by the shifting colors and textures of the grasslands, the Valley Rosary is a statement of simple beauty. Composed of a curated combination of clay bodies, creating a distinctive interplay of subtle colors, patterns, and textures.

Valley Details

  • Clay bodies: Stained porcelain in avocado, dark leaf and dusted cerulean blue, dispersed amongst three types of stoneware 
  • Hardware: Your choice of 14k gold or sterling silver.
  • Finish: Kiln-fired, waterproof, and completely free of plastic and polymer.
  • Handmade: Crafted in small batches by a women-led studio in Boise, Idaho. Every charm is individually made, making each piece unique. Clay is mixed from scratch, then hand-rolled or cut from sheets of clay and hand-painted. Each metal component is hand-cut, bent, and hammered, celebrating the beauty of thoughtful craftsmanship and the subtle variations that make every piece one of a kind.

Care Instructions

Clay Care: If your piece starts to look dirty, wash with soap and water. A toothbrush with some dish soap works wonders. If you are in the wilderness, a use a biodegradable/river/reef safe soap.

Precious Metals: Our findings are sterling silver and 14k gold. If notice a tarnish, polish with a soft jewelry cloth. For a deep clean, use vinegar and baking soda. Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a ½ cup of white vinegar, add a splash of warm water, and stir. Soak your jewelry in this solution for 2-3 hours, rinse, and polish dry. 

Shipping & Returns

Shipping: Please allow 2-3 business days for your order to be assembled.  

Returns: Any items that are broken or defective upon arrival, the defect must be reported within 5 days of receiving your order. Please email info@claybyshay.com. All other returns will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Shipping will be covered by buyers in the case of a return or repair.

Packaging

  • Earrings come in a reusable organic cotton pouch.
  • Necklaces come in a reusable microfiber carrying case. Perfect for gifting and storing.
